Telecare sensors use technology to tell us the emergency situation that’s occurring at your home so our experienced team can send the right response.

Telecare will give you extra reassurance that in the event of an accident or emergency, your sensor will automatically alert Reach & Respond even if you are unable to contact us yourself using your pendant.

Telecare sensors include:

Falls detector

Worn on your wrist or around your neck, a falls sensor will automatically alert us if you fall.

Bed occupancy sensor

This sensor pad goes under your mattress so if you were to get out of bed and not return, it will automatically alert our control centre so we can check on you.  

Smoke detector

A smoke detector works in exactly the same way as a normal device but also alerts our control centre in the event of an emergency, rather than relying on you, or your loved ones to notice and act.  Our team will immediately request emergency services if you tell us there is a fire, you are unsure or you do not reply when asked. 

Bogus caller button

If you are suspicious that someone knocking on your door is a bogus caller, you can use the button by your front door to alert us so we can check if you are ok and send help if needed.

Temperature extreme sensor

If your home becomes too hot or cold, or if the temperature suddenly changes, this sensor will alert our 24/7 control centre.

Flood detector

This detector will attempt to audibly alert you if there is a flood in your home. It will also immediately notify our 24/7 contact centre so we can send assistance too.

Carbon monoxide detector

This will sound an alert if it senses carbon monoxide in your home. It will also notify us so we can send assistance.
