Samantha joined Reach & Respond in October 2019. She has an impressive background previously serving in the Royal Navy, as well as working as a social worker and domestic violence officer.
As one of our Team Leaders, Samantha is responsible for a large team of eighteen colleagues who all work remotely across the Scarborough and Whitby areas.
Samantha prides herself on being a resilient manager who can problem-solve while remaining calm under pressure. Effectively supporting her team is integral to achieving positive outcomes for both customers and the business, and she always strives to support her colleagues with their professional growth and development.
Greatest achievement – ‘For me, it has to be winning the Team Leader Award at the National Housing with Care Awards 2024! Fun fact – When Samantha was just 19 years of age, she met the Queen on HMS Ocean. She had a personal interview with her Royal Majesty, who asked about her Naval training and she even shook Samantha’s hand.
